So, I have to transfer to another school an hour and a half away, because I no longer get enough financial aid to cover the yearly cost at my school thanks to a massive tuition raise of $2,000. For the poor people of this country, there is a insidious “rule” developing that they should stay poor because getting a college education is almost impossible due to the incredible cost and impaction of most state schools. So, instead of being able to graduate from college with a 4 year degree and being able to raise their income and financial status considerably, the unofficial caste system decrees that they continue to work entry level jobs and stay poor. My family makes $500 over the poverty line in the state of California, and here I am paying my way through college applying for every scholarship on Fastweb and praying that I get enough financial aid to cover each semester. Repost this with your own experiences and commentary so I know I am not the only one.
